The Pureflow AirDog II 5G 220 GPH A7SABF595 lift pump, or Fuel Preporator, is a must have upgrade for your 2008-2010 6.4L Powerstroke. The fuel system on your 6.4L diesel truck is the heart of the vehicle’s performance and reliability. This high flow and low pressure lift pump is preset at 10psi right out of the box.  The II-5G features a fully adjustable (7-70psi) integrated diaphragm pressure regulator.  This regulator offers more consistent fuel pressure and allows for higher flow rates at pressure.  It can also be boost compensated to battle any pressure drops under open throttle (boost compensation kits sold seperately).

 

The II-5G DF-220 Powerstroke lift pump mounts to the inner frame rail using the supplied sandwich plate mounting system. The suction/fuel supply side hooks directly to the 5/8″ draw straw installed in the fuel tank. The pressure side line connects directly to the injection pump feed line on the frame rail.  The air/vapor return is sent back to the tank through a return “Y” that splices the AirDog return into the factory engine return.  This pump is designed to bypass the factory pump.  You can download the full PDF Installation manual HERE for a more in depth look at the installation process and a full parts list.

 

This AirDog II 5G 220GPH Powerstroke lift pump is recommended for trucks that have an aggressivley upgraded fuel system (meaning stock to larger injectors and oversized injection pump; will also support aggressive tuning). The 220GPH pump is designed for performance applications reaching over 1000 RWHP! Backed by a lifetime warranty.

 

The AirDog II-5G DF-220 for the 08-10 Powerstroke is engineered with the most proven, quiet and reliable motor technology on the market.  It also retains the “demand flow” capabilties of the previous AirDog II systems.  This means that is has a constant supply of clean, pure fuel available for your injector pump at all times.  Any fuel not used by the engine is simply recycled back to the tank, so it will never “over-fuel” your system (see How It Works).  The II-5G features larger 3/4-16 O-ring boss inlet and outlet ports.  A 7/16-20 (-4) low-flow return is used to prevent aeration in the fuel returned to the tank.  The II-5G A7SABF595 uses the same better-than-OEM fuel filter (FF100-2) and water separator (WS100) as the previous AirDog II models.  Pureflow AirDog products are manufactured in Shelbyville, Indiana by a team of skilled workers with unsurpassed attention to detail and using the most stringent quality assurance.
